Have you outgrown the Corporate Gym setting ? Looking to take home more cash ? We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Independent contract Personal Trainer that wants to run their own business out of Happy Valley's premier personal training facility. Voted #1 in the Rose city and Happy Valley. You would be renting gym space, equipment. Facility is 2300 sqft shared with other trainers doing the same. HVAC AC and heat, not in an industrial warehouse. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and body mechanics, enabling them to design effective training programs tailored to individual client needs. This role involves motivating clients, providing guidance on fitness techniques, and promoting a healthy lifestyle through personal training sessions. Responsibilities Conduct initial assessments to understand clients' fitness levels, goals, and any health concerns. Develop personalized training programs that incorporate safe and effective exercises based on clients' needs. Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and ensure clients perform exercises safely to prevent injury. Provide ongoing support and motivation to clients throughout their fitness journey. Track client progress and adjust training programs as necessary to ensure continued improvement. Educate clients on the principles of nutrition and healthy living as part of their overall wellness plan. Maintain a clean and organized training environment, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition. Promote fitness services and programs to potential clients through effective sales techniques. Stay updated on the latest fitness trends, techniques, and research to enhance personal training offerings. Qualifications Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and body mechanics relevant to personal training. Experience in program design tailored to various fitness levels and goals. Previous experience in personal training or group fitness instruction is preferred. Skills in sports coaching or teaching physical education are advantageous. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire clients. Sales experience in fitness or related fields is a plus. Certification from a recognized personal training organization is required.
