Job Description

Job Overview The Merion Cricket Club is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and highly professional Pilates Reformer Instructor to join our Fitness & Wellness team. This position is ideal for an instructor who enjoys providing personalized, high-quality instruction in an upscale, private club environment. The Pilates Reformer Instructor will lead engaging, safe, and effective private and/or small-group Reformer sessions tailored to members' individual fitness levels, goals, and abilities. The ideal candidate will combine strong Classic Pilates expertise with exceptional interpersonal skills and a genuine commitment to delivering outstanding member experience. Responsibilities Conduct private and small-group Pilates Reformer sessions. Design safe, effective, and individualized workouts based on members' goals and abilities. Provide clear instruction, demonstrations, modifications, and hands-on or verbal cues as appropriate. Maintain a welcoming, professional, and positive environment for all members. Build strong relationships with members while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries and discretion. Ensure all equipment and studio areas are clean, organized, and properly maintained. Follow club policies, safety procedures, and wellness standards. Communicate professionally with members, colleagues, and management. Maintain current knowledge of Pilates techniques, fitness trends, and best practices. Support the club's overall commitment to exceptional health, wellness, and hospitality. Qualifications Current Pilates Reformer certification from a recognized Pilates organization. Previous experience teaching Reformer Pilates, preferably in a private studio, health club, luxury fitness facility, or private club setting. Strong understanding of Pilates principles, anatomy, movement mechanics, and exercise modifications. Ability to work with a diverse range of fitness levels and experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude. Reliable, punctual, organized, and service oriented. Current CPR/AED certification preferred or required. Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in a private club environment. Availability will be based on member demand and club programming. Compensation Hourly rate / session rate / compensation range, based on experience and qualification
