Join the City Fitness team as a Personal Training Coach and be a key part of our supportive, results-driven community. You'll guide members through individual and small-group sessions in accordance with programming, techniques, standards, and expectations established by City Fitness. With the appropriate cardiovascular, flexibility, and resistance training, you'll help members reach their health and fitness goals safely while fostering motivation, confidence, and connection along the way. Requirements:
Must be 18 years or older High School Diploma or GED Equivalency Nationally recognized personal training certification preferred at time of hire; required within 60 days if hired (ISSA preferred) Active CPR certification - Preferred at time of hire; required within 60 days if hired Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Continual standing, walking/ frequent bending, reaching and occasional kneeling Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Must be physically fit enough to spot clients and correctly perform any exercise or movement included in the program. Requires full manual dexterity of the upper extremities including hands, arms and shoulders and unrestricted movement of both lower extremities, back and hips. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position which requires a minimum of 35 scheduled hours per workweek.
