Job Description

Anytime Fitness Kensington is looking for a motivated, outgoing fitness professional who loves coaching people and is interested in learning more about the business side of the fitness industry. This is a hybrid role combining Small Group Training, Team Training, fitness consultations, member engagement, and club operations. We are looking for someone who is excited about coaching groups and helping grow our training community, not simply building a traditional book of 1-on-1 personal training clients. A major focus of this position will be conducting fitness consultations with new and existing members, understanding their goals, and helping connect them with the right coaching option. Our goal is to continue expanding our Small Group and Team Training programs and create an environment where more members have access to coaching, accountability, and community. At the same time, we want this person to learn how the entire club operates. You will gain experience with membership sales, member service, club operations, marketing, retention, and the day-to-day business of running a fitness facility. For the right person, there is significant opportunity for the role and responsibilities to grow over time.
What You'll Do:
Coach & Grow Our Training Programs Coach Small Group Training sessions. Coach larger Team Training classes. Deliver safe, effective, and engaging workouts for a variety of fitness levels. We want you to understand how the entire club operates. You will have the opportunity to learn and assist with: Membership sales and club tours. New member registration and onboarding. Lead and prospect follow-up. Member service and retention. Scheduling appointments and fitness consultations. Basic membership and account questions. Marketing, promotions, events, and community outreach. Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional club environment. General administrative and operational projects. Is passionate about fitness and helping people. Enjoys coaching groups and creating energy in a room. Is comfortable working with people of different ages, abilities, and fitness levels. Has strong communication and interpersonal skills. Is comfortable talking to new people. Is willing to learn the sales side of fitness and confidently recommend coaching services. Takes initiative and doesn't need to be told every small task that needs to be completed. Is dependable, organized, and professional. Is willing to help with both coaching and club operations.
