Reviews health and fitness goals, teaches correct and safe exercise technique, monitors progress and provides encouragement for clients. Leads fitness and exercise classes at a community center, club or pool. Teaches aerobics, water, strength building or other exercises and maintains equipment.
Primarily online; optional in-person sessions for local clients, based in Rockville, MD Position Summary Major Aesthetics is seeking an engaging Health & Fitness Coach to provide one-on-one coaching to clients primarily in an online setting. The majority of the work is virtual; in-person sessions are also available for clients who are local to the Rockville, MD area. As a Health & Fitness Coach, the Coach designs and delivers personalized programs, builds strong client relationships, and supports clients throughout their fitness journey while operating their own business and controlling the manner and means of performing the services. Job Duties Client Coaching & Program Design Create personalized programs based on each client's goals, background, limitations, daily habits, and available time. Deliver one-on-one customized online coaching Training in-person clients who are local to the Rockville, MD area. Apply appropriate progressions and exercise modifications for clients who are new, less conditioned, or have physical limitations. Client Relationships & Communication Build strong client relationships through authentic, consistent communication. Conduct check-ins and maintain communication with clients throughout their fitness journey. Adapt coaching approach to accommodate different learning preferences, goals, and personalities. Support and motivate clients working toward their training or nutrition goals. Progress Tracking & Tools Track client progress using measurements, progress photos, and journaling, as the Coach deems appropriate. Use coaching tools and applications to support the client experience and results. Manage scheduling and tracking of the Coach's own client appointments. Client Safety Maintain client safety during all sessions, in person and online. Follow appropriate procedures for managing injuries or emergencies, including providing immediate care and escalating (such as calling 911) when warranted. Qualifications Current Personal Trainer certification. Current CPR certification. Demonstrated experience providing one-on-one coaching. Experience posting and engaging on social media. Ability to coach effectively in both online and in-person environments. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Comfortable using technology, apps, and coaching platforms. Compensation Compensation is commission-based. Coaches are paid a commission of at least 40% of the earned income per client. The commission rate is determined based on the Coach's level of experience and number of clients.

$1,200.00 - $7,000.00 per month
