In this role, you will create a welcoming environment where clients can improve their flexibility, strength, and mental well-being through expertly guided yoga routines. Your expertise will help foster a positive community atmosphere, promote health and wellness, and support members in achieving their fitness goals. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to share your love for yoga while making a meaningful impact on others' lives. Responsibilities Lead dynamic and well-structured group yoga classes tailored to diverse skill levels and physical abilities Demonstrate proper techniques, postures, and breathing exercises to ensure safe practice and maximize benefits Motivate participants through energetic coaching, encouraging progress and confidence-building during each session Design innovative yoga programs that incorporate elements of biomechanics, anatomy knowledge, and physiology principles Provide personalized guidance and modifications to accommodate individual needs and prevent injuries Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming class environment by adhering to health and safety standards including first aid readiness and AED operation Communicate effectively with clients to understand their goals, offer feedback, and promote ongoing engagement in fitness activities Requirements Certified Yoga Instructor with current certification from an accredited organization Proven experience teaching group fitness classes with a focus on yoga instruction Strong knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, physiology, and body mechanics relevant to yoga practice Additional certifications or experience in Pilates, DANCING, or sports coaching is a plus Demonstrated ability to motivate clients while maintaining high energy levels throughout classes Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach to fitness coaching Ability to perform physical activities including heavy lifting, manual handling, cycling, or other fitness routines as needed Knowledge of CPR/AED certification is required; first aid training is preferred Join us as a Certified Yoga Instructor and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to empowering individuals through healthful movement.
