Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a KidStrong Coach, where your passion for fitness and child development will inspire young minds and bodies to reach their full potential! In this energetic role, you will lead engaging, age-appropriate fitness programs designed to promote physical health, coordination, and confidence in children. Your enthusiasm and expertise will create a fun, motivating environment that encourages kids to develop healthy habits while building essential motor skills. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives through innovative fitness coaching and program design. Responsibilities Lead lively group fitness classes tailored for children, incorporating activities like body mechanics exercises, dance, sports coaching, and yoga. Demonstrate proper exercise routines and ensure children practice movements safely through hands-on guidance and practice sessions. Design age-appropriate fitness programs that incorporate elements of biomechanics, anatomy knowledge, and physiology to promote healthy growth. Motivate children during activities by providing positive reinforcement, encouragement, and constructive feedback to foster confidence and enjoyment. Ensure safety by applying manual handling techniques, maintaining proper body mechanics, and responding promptly with first aid or CPR if needed. Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about their child's progress and fitness goals while delivering exceptional customer service. Maintain a clean, organized workout environment while adhering to health club standards and safety protocols including AED operation and heavy lifting procedures. Experience Previous experience in group fitness instruction or personal training is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, physiology, and health club safety standards. Certifications in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, first aid, and heavy lifting are required. Background in sports coaching, dance, Pilates, yoga instruction or CrossFit is advantageous. Experience working with children or in a health club environment is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate young clients while ensuring safety and engagement throughout each session. Pay:
From $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 30.0 per week
