The ideal candidate is confident guiding group classes, providing modifications, and creating an inclusive environment where members feel comfortable, challenged, and supported. Instructors should be passionate about wellness, dependable, and able to build positive relationships with members. Responsibilities Lead safe, engaging, and well-structured group yoga classes Provide clear verbal instruction and demonstrate proper form and technique Offer appropriate modifications for beginner, intermediate, and advanced participants Create class plans that align with the scheduled yoga format Greet members and create a welcoming class environment Monitor participants and provide guidance to support proper alignment and safety Begin and end classes on time Maintain a clean, organized, and professional studio environment Inspect and properly reset equipment before and after each class Build positive relationships with members and encourage continued participation Promote Kinective's yoga classes, programs, and wellness offerings Follow Kinective's safety procedures, service standards, mission, and core values Complete other related responsibilities assigned by the General Manager or Group Fitness Manager Qualifications Current yoga instructor certification from a recognized training program Strong knowledge of yoga poses, alignment, breathing techniques, and class sequencing Ability to confidently lead group classes Ability to provide modifications based on participant experience and physical ability Strong communication and customer-service skills Dependable, professional, positive, and comfortable engaging with members CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain certification within a designated period Preferred Qualifications 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher training or equivalent Previous experience leading group yoga classes Experience teaching multiple formats, such as Vinyasa, Hatha, Restorative, Yin, or Power Yoga Experience working in a fitness, wellness, or studio environment
