About Operation Get Fit Operation Get Fit, LLC (OGF) is a Houston based fitness and wellness company that partners with organizations to support healthier, more active employees. Service, safety, inclusion, excellence, and quality of life guide how we work with our clients and participants. About the Opportunity OGF is seeking experienced Group Exercise (Group X) Instructors to lead in-person fitness classes for our corporate wellness clients throughout the Houston area. You'll lead structured classes for participants with varying fitness levels and abilities. We're looking for instructors who can confidently lead a group, provide clear instruction and cueing, offer appropriate modifications, maintain class flow, and create a safe, inclusive, and engaging fitness experience. As a representative of OGF at our client locations, professionalism, reliability, communication, and the ability to adapt to the participants in front of you are essential. OGF provides the corporate client assignments; instructors are not responsible for recruiting or sourcing their own participants. What You'll Do
- Lead structured, engaging group fitness classes at corporate client locations
- Provide clear instruction, demonstrations, movement cueing, and appropriate modifications
- Monitor exercise technique and adapt instruction for different fitness levels and abilities
- Manage class pacing and transitions from warm up through cool down
- Create a professional, inclusive, and motivating class environment
- Arrive prepared and on time for accepted assignments
- Communicate professionally with OGF and client site contacts
- Follow OGF and client site policies and safety standards Group Fitness Formats We are interested in instructors qualified to teach one or more formats, including: Strength & Conditioning HIIT Circuit Training Cardio Functional Fitness Core Mobility & Flexibility Stretching Low-Impact Fitness Yoga Pilates Dance Fitness Other recognized group exercise specialties are also welcome.
- Current Group Exercise / Group Fitness Instructor certification
- Minimum 2 years of group fitness instruction experience
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation and ability to work in person at OGF client locations throughout the Houston area
- Ability to maintain required professional credentials
- Have or be willing to obtain general liability insurance
- Meet OGF onboarding and applicable client-site requirements Recognized credentials may include ACE, AFAA, ACSM, ISSA, NETA, NASM, Yoga Alliance, recognized Pilates credentials, Zumba, and other recognized group fitness or specialty credentials.
- Hold a current qualifying certification
- Have at least 2 years of group fitness instruction experience
- Can reliably commute to OGF client locations throughout the Houston area
- Are willing to complete a practical audition
