Job Description

Some classes are just exercise. Ours are something more. Namitzi Yoga & Wellness is seeking a compassionate and dependable instructor to lead small-group Gentle Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yin Yoga, and Meditation classes as part of community wellness programming. These classes are designed to help participants slow down, reduce stress, reconnect with themselves, and experience the benefits of mindful movement and relaxation in a supportive environment. Class sizes are typically small, allowing instructors to build meaningful connections while creating a welcoming and peaceful experience for participants of all levels.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead safe, accessible Gentle Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yin Yoga, and Meditation classes Incorporate breathwork, mindfulness, relaxation, and stress-reduction techniques Provide modifications to accommodate varying mobility levels and abilities Create a warm, inclusive, and supportive class environment Arrive prepared, professional, and on time Maintain attendance records and communicate any scheduling needs in advance Represent Namitzi Yoga & Wellness with professionalism and care
QUALIFICATIONS RYT-200
preferred Experience teaching yoga, meditation, mindfulness, or wellness classes Comfortable leading beginner-friendly movement and relaxation practices Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, compassionate, and professional CPR/First Aid certification preferred Reliable transportation
LOCATION PREFERENCE
Preference will be given to instructors who reside in North Houston, Humble, Kingwood, Atascocita, Spring, The Woodlands, or surrounding areas. We try our best to keep instructors as close to their homebase as possible.
COMPENSATION
$40 per class
