Full Job Description About Us:

We are a thriving and dynamic fitness center seeking a dedicated Personal Trainer to join our team. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an enthusiastic individual to provide guidance and mentorship to our clients. Our ideal candidate is not only passionate about fitness but also possesses strong sales skills to help us expand our presence in our city. Experience in yoga and Pilates is highly valued, and for exceptional performers, advancement to a managerial role is possible.

Responsibilities:

• Train and mentor existing clients to help them achieve their fitness goals, whether it's improving their fitness levels, losing weight, or preparing for competitions.
• Design safe and effective exercise programs that can be performed both in the gym and at home.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, giving ample notice for appointment changes and accommodating client schedule changes promptly.
• Educate gym members about the advantages of personal training and promote our training packages.
• Handle weekly payments from clients and ensure they are processed by our accounting department.
• Lead group fitness classes when necessary to support our fitness programs.
• Dedicate a minimum of three days per week to your own fitness regimen.
• Provide crucial safety advice to clients and demonstrate exercises or techniques as needed.

Requirements:

• Current Personal Training Certification from a nationally recognized certifying authority.
• Active CPR/AED Certification from a nationally recognized certifying authority.
• At least one current Specialty Certification is a plus (e.g., Seniors, Special Populations, TRX Suspension, etc.).
• Demonstrated track record of delivering results to clients.
• Proven sales ability with a track record of successful closings.

Location:

This position requires in-person work in Richardson, TX 75080. Candidates should be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate to this location before starting work.
