Personal Trainer (Group Fitness Experience Preferred)Shelby Symmetry | Waxahachie, TX1099 Contractor Position Shelby Symmetry is looking for a professional, dependable Personal Trainer to join our growing team.

We are a boutique gym focused on helping everyday people improve their health, strength, mobility, and longevity in a supportive, welcoming environment. Our members range from beginners and weight loss clients to older adults and general fitness populations. We are not a high-pressure sales gym — we focus on relationships, coaching, and helping people feel successful.

As our membership continues to grow, we are looking to expand our personal training availability and increase coverage for group training classes.

What We're Looking ForWe are looking for a coach who is:

Professional and dependableFriendly and relationship-focusedComfortable working with all ages and fitness levelsConfident modifying exercises for injuries or physical limitationsAble to motivate beginners without intimidationA strong communicator and team playerComfortable leading group training sessions as neededResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality 1-on-1 personal training sessionsLead group training classes as neededBuild strong relationships with members and contribute to retention through excellent coaching and member experienceSafely modify movements for individual limitations or injuriesMaintain a clean, organized training environmentParticipate in occasional team meetingsPerform InBody scans as needed
QualificationsRequired:
Minimum 1 year of personal training experienceNationally recognized personal training certification (NASM, ACE, ISSA, ACSM, NSCA, or equivalent)Current CPR/AED certificationAvailability for some morning and evening hours
Preferred:
