Pilates Instructor (Wednesays 7am) Orem Recreation/Fitness Center - 3.0 Orem, UT Job Details Part-time From $20 an hour 11 hours ago Benefits Relocation assistance Qualifications Exercise safety education Certified Group Exercise Instructor Pilates Safety-focused fitness instruction Performing background checks Certified Fitness Instructor Teaching Full Job Description The Orem Recreation Department is currently hiring for a Recreation Instructor to teach group fitness classes at the Orem Family Fitness Center. This is a part-time, non-benefited position that will instruct classes as needed based on the facility schedule, and may include class times in the morning and/or evening. Our current need is to fill a Pilates 7am class on Wednesdays. Group fitness instructors must be able to teach proper and safe techniques, including warm up, cool down, and heart rate management. Performs other duties as assigned. Benefits include a free Orem Family Fitness Center individual membership, discounts on family passes, buddy pass, and free individual scera pool access with applicable family discounts. Requires group fitness certification such as AFAA and or other certifications specific to the classes to be taught. Applicants must be in compliance with department dress, personal appearance policies. Successful candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and a criminal background investigation.
