What we are looking for in a teacher is someone passionate, adaptable, and a forever student. Our studio has a set of scripts to learn, with the potential to teach your own scripted classes. Our studio is niche in the sense that our students thrive in a challenge. Duties Lead engaging yoga sessions emphasizing proper technique and mindful movement Learn & teach studio scripts (eventually teach self made scripts) Demonstrate yoga poses and routines when necessary Able to adapt and tailor session to various skill levels, knowledge of modifications Being able to teach a scripted class without demoing and by using concise queuing Teaching in a heated room, over 100 degrees with humidity Foster a welcoming atmosphere that motivates participants to achieve their personal best Engaging with the community before and after class and fostering relationships with students Provide guidance on breathing techniques, meditation practices, and body mechanics to enhance overall well-being and anatomy knowledge to ensure safe practice and injury prevention Maintain high standards of client communication and customer service, ensuring positive experiences for all attendees Taking classes at the studio is a high priority for us. We want you to enjoy taking classes from other teachers just as much as you want to teach Requirements Certified Yoga Instructor with relevant qualifications in yoga instruction and teaching exercise routines Willing to work with our teacher trainer to learn scripts and willing to take feedback and translate it to your teaching style Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and body mechanics as they relate to yoga practice Experience in group fitness classes, coaching, and leading a room (New teachers welcome but experience is a plus) Familiarity with additional fitness disciplines such as Pilates, dance, CrossFit, or sports coaching is a plus CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) certification required for emergency preparedness Demonstrated physical fitness training experience with the ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely Excellent client communication skills with a motivational coaching style that inspires confidence and commitment Passion for health and wellness industry trends with a proactive approach to program design and fitness sales We are looking for someone humble yet fierce.
