Job Description
If you are personable, friendly, dedicated, and passionate about transforming people's lives through Pilates - we want you to join our team! Begin your career as a motivational fitness coach while embodying our motto: Do Pilates. Do Life. Club Pilates is hiring both comprehensively trained and apprentice Pilates instructors for our new Club Pilates location opening in Chester, VA. This is a W2 position, not a contractor. Earn great pay and teach as many classes as you want! Instructors will have the option of teaching group classes as well as private training.

Founded in 2007, Club Pilates is the nation's largest and fastest growing Pilates franchise with locations now in 5 countries! Club Pilates studios are locally owned and operated. Our Club Pilates instructors teach full body Pilates reformer group classes in a fun, state-of-the-art Pilates facility. We utilize Balance Body reformers, springboards, EXO chairs, and complementary equipment. Instructors may also choose to teach private classes in our fully equipped private training rooms (Cadillac/Reformer).Requirements:
Pleasant demeanor and excellent customer service skills- Maintain open availability for a minimum of 8 hours (2 shifts) per week
- Demonstrates group reformer instruction abilities
- Professional and effective communication skills
- Willingness to evolve with new developments in the fitness industry, specifically Pilates
- Comfortable adding TRX, Barre, and Trigger Point modalities to teaching repertoire
- Team player
- Passion for learning and willingness to attend continued education trainings and seminars
- Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
- Ability to implement and streamline new procedures in a diverse environment
- Ability to recognize areas of improvement and pro-actively communicate with management
- Ability to work harmoniously with the public, management, and instructors
- Professional and neat The Ideal Comprehensive Instructor will have: -One year of experience (preferred) teaching group reformer classes. -Comprehensive Pilates Training (e.g., STOTT, Balance Body, Peak Pilates, Club Pilates).

Apprentice Instructor:
-250+ Hours of comprehensive training with all reformer and mat work complete. -Comprehensive Pilates Training Program (e.g. STOTT, Balance Body, Peak Pilates, Club Pilates).NOT YET CERTIFIED

If you aren't already a certified Pilates Instructor, we have exciting news! In preparation for the opening of our new studio in Chester this Fall, we will be co-hosting a Club Pilates Teacher Training! About theClub Pilates Teacher Training:
Our Teacher Training will take place over 7 days across two weeks at a sister studio in Richmond, VA.Training begins:
September 15th, 2024. Graduates from this teacher training program will be considered for immediate hire at our upcoming Chester location as a Junior Instructor!- The Club Pilates Core Instructor training is an internationally recognized certification that will enable instructors to become a Junior Pilates Instructor.
- This certificate does not expire, and it enables our teachers teach in settings such as group fitness, one-on-one, big gyms, small boutique studios around the world, and our growing family of Club Pilates studios!
- 95% of our graduates thrive in the Pilates industry upon completion of our program.
- This program will equip graduates with all the skills needed to become a successful instructor in the Pilates industry.
- The Club Pilates Teacher Training fulfills global industry standards of Pilates instructor education.
- Graduates will receive a Core Pilates education in the following: Mat, Reformer.
- Participants will have access to our proprietary educational materials and the host studio facility for one year from the date of their first in-studio day.
