Personal Trainer / Fitness Instructor Functional Fitness VA Falls Church, VA Job Details Part-time | Full-time $40 - $45 an hour 11 hours ago Benefits Health insurance On-site gym Paid time off Qualifications Certified Personal Trainer CPR Certification Customer service Driving Teaching AED Certification Full Job Description We are looking for a personal trainer to join our close-knit team, starting at 25+ hours a week of coverage. This position includes working with clients One-on-One as well as leading Small Groups (up to 6 people, semi-personalized) and Classes (up to 15 people). Applicants must meet the following requirements: Hold a current accredited Personal Trainer Certification Hold a current CPR/AED Certification 2 years experience in field minimum Responsibilities for the position are: Train and meet the needs of clients Work on-site at our gym in Falls Church, VA •our location is not Metro accessible , applicants must be able to drive themselves to work•Be on-time, easy to communicate with, competent at managing your schedule, and generally able to interact with clients in a professional manner Clean up after sessions and classes Come up with curriculum for classes May occasionally be asked to work community and marketing events (compensated) General availability needs: We have a full-time (25+ hours/week) client load ready to be handed over. Room for additional growth in hours beyond that starting point. Ideally starting one-week shadowing period by August 15th (minimum of 20-hours a week shadowing, compensated).
Days/times availability needs:
•Must be available: Monday through Friday 6am - 2pm•Preferred qualifications: Kettlebell specific certification Group exercise certification Experience training / teaching groups
