Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Pilates instructor to join our Outpatient Physical Therapy Clinic. In this role, you will deliver expert-led Pilates sessions tailored to individual patient needs, helping clients improve their strength, flexibility, and overall functional movement. Your energetic coaching will motivate clients through engaging exercise routines that promote recovery, enhance mobility, and support their wellness goals. Duties Lead individual and small-group Pilates sessions focused on strength, mobility, balance, flexibility, and functional movement. Develop customized exercise programs based on client goals, abilities, and physical therapy recommendations. Ensure proper form, alignment, breathing techniques, and safe movement patterns during sessions. Work collaboratively with physical therapists and healthcare professionals to support client outcomes. Modify exercises for clients with injuries, limitations, or varying fitness levels. Maintain a welcoming, professional, and motivating environment for all clients. Educate clients on movement awareness, posture, and healthy exercise habits. Experience Proven experience as a Pilates instructor within a health club, fitness center, or clinical setting with a focus on outpatient physical therapy or rehabilitation Strong background in anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and sports coaching to inform effective program design Demonstrated ability to teach exercise routines confidently across group classes or one-on-one sessions Knowledge of additional fitness disciplines such as yoga, cycling, CrossFit, dancing, or sports coaching is highly desirable Experience working with clients requiring physical therapy or injury recovery support is preferred Certification in Pilates instruction is required; additional certifications in personal training, group fitness instruction, or specialized modalities like yoga or kickboxing are advantageous Familiarity with fitness sales techniques and delivering exceptional customer service in a health or gym environment Join our team and be part of a vibrant community dedicated to empowering clients through expert guidance in fitness and rehabilitation!
