Design innovative program plans that integrate elements of Pilates, Yoga, CrossFit, or dance-inspired movements to keep classes fresh and engaging. Motivate participants through energetic coaching, providing personalized feedback and encouragement to foster confidence and progress. Ensure all participants adhere to safety protocols by monitoring water conditions and enforcing proper use of equipment. Maintain detailed records of class attendance, participant progress, and safety incidents. Stay current with industry best practices by participating in ongoing training related to biomechanics, physiology, first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, and health club standards. Skills Proven experience in group fitness instruction with a focus on water-based exercises or aquatic fitness programs. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and body mechanics relevant to aquatic training. Ability to teach diverse exercise routines including Pilates, Yoga, Dancing, or Sports Coaching within a water environment. Excellent client communication skills with a friendly and motivational coaching style. Familiarity with fitness industry standards for safety procedures such as manual handling and heavy lifting in aquatic settings. Experience designing customized fitness programs that incorporate CrossFit principles or high-intensity interval training (HIIT). Certification in First Aid, CPR, AED operation, and relevant fitness qualifications such as Group Fitness Certification or Personal Training credentials. Knowledge of cycling or biomechanics can enhance program variety; teaching experience in health clubs or gyms is advantageous. Ability to demonstrate exercises clearly while ensuring participant safety through proper practice techniques.
