A Personal Trainer or Fitness Instructor develops customized exercise and fitness programs for clients. Reviews health and fitness goals, teaches correct and safe exercise technique, monitors progress and provides encouragement for clients. Leads fitness and exercise classes at a community center, club or pool. Teaches aerobics, water, strength building or other exercises and maintains equipment.

License/Certification:
Current nationally recognized Mat Pilates / Yoga certification and/or Pilates / Yoga specialty training / certification relevant to instruction being taught required Prior experience as a Group Fitness or similar type instructor Must be at least 18 years old Essential Duties & Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned): Instruct Pilates / Yoga classes to ensure safe, fun and motivating environment Demonstrate proper form and technique Courteous, friendly, and professional communication skills with customers and team members Ability to inspire and motivate clients to reach their fitness goals Come to class prepared to teach Arrive early to class to set up Greet participants before class and when leaving class Work stereo system and teach with mic Work tablet to check-in class participants Ensure class equipment is out prior to the start of class and neatly stored and put away at the conclusion of class Passion for health and fitness Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a professional, team oriented environment
