Job Description

GreenLake Fitness is looking for motivated individuals to join our team! GreenLake is a neighborhood treasure, with a loyal membership of clients who are hungry to reach their goals. We are looking for individuals who are self-starters, love to build relationships with people, and are ready to build up a client base. Applicants will ideally have at least 1-year of experience working with people in a training environment, and must hold and maintain a current certification in personal training. ```Duties```
  • Provide personalized fitness training sessions to clients based on their individual goals and needs
  • Develop and implement effective exercise programs for clients, including strength training, cardiovascular exercises, and flexibility training
  • Conduct fitness assessments and evaluations to track clients' progress and make necessary adjustments to their training programs
  • Educate clients on proper form, technique, and safety precautions during exercises
  • Motivate and inspire clients to achieve their fitness goals through positive reinforcement and support
  • Monitor clients' progress and provide ongoing guidance and feedback to help them stay on track
  • Maintain a clean and organized workout environment ```Skills```
  • Sports coaching: Experience in coaching individuals or groups in various sports activities
  • Group fitness: Ability to lead group fitness classes and create engaging workouts for participants of different fitness levels
  • Program design: Proficiency in designing customized workout programs tailored to individual client needs and goals
  • Fitness sales: Strong sales skills to promote personal training services and attract new clients
  • Body mechanics: Knowledge of proper body mechanics to ensure safe and effective exercise execution
  • Physiology knowledge: Understanding of human physiology and how it relates to exercise and fitness
  • Personal training: Certification or relevant experience in personal training techniques and methodologies
  • Sales:
    Ability to effectively communicate the value of personal training services and close sales
  • Physical education: Background in physical education or related field is a plus
  • Anatomy knowledge: Familiarity with human anatomy and how it relates to exercise movements
