Job Overview As a Mat Pilates Instructor, you will play a key role in helping clients build strength, improve mobility, and enhance mind-body connection through intentional movement. You'll guide clients through personal sessions and small group sessions, focusing on proper form, control, and alignment. This role requires a strong understanding of body mechanics, anatomy, and movement patterns, along with the ability to create a welcoming, empowering environment for all fitness levels.

Responsibilities Conduct initial assessments to understand clients' movement patterns, limitations, and goals Design and lead customized Pilates sessions (mat and/or equipment-based) tailored to individual needs Provide hands-on cueing and clear instruction to ensure proper alignment, control, and safety Modify exercises for injuries, limitations, or varying fitness levels Monitor client progress and adjust programming to maximize results Educate clients on posture, core engagement, and functional movement for everyday life Build strong client relationships to support retention and long-term success Participate in fitness sales and client outreach to grow your book of business Lead small group classes as needed, creating an engaging and supportive environment Maintain a clean, organized studio space and ensure equipment is properly cared for Stay current on Pilates techniques, continuing education, and industry trends Requirements Pilates certification (mat and/or apparatus) from a recognized program, or willingness to obtain within an agreed timeframe Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and movement mechanics Comfortable connecting with members, making calls, and engaging in social media marketing Experience with client retention, sales, or building a personal client base is a plus Group instruction or teaching experience preferred but not required Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and educate clients Ability to work flexible hours (early mornings, daytime, and/or evenings) Passion for health, movement, and ongoing professional development CPR Certification (free certification provided by Get Fit) Why Join Us?
