Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities Lead and coach group training sessions using the programming systems and training templates provided by FIRE Fitness Camp HQ. Conduct one-on-one personal training sessions tailored to individual client goals and fitness levels. Assist with youth fitness and athletic development programs. Perform client progress reviews, body composition assessments, and goal-setting consultations every 90 days. Participate in weekly team meetings to stay aligned with company initiatives, programming updates, and business objectives. Collaborate with staff to support client retention, engagement, and recruitment efforts. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional training environment, including equipment upkeep and facility care. Communicate member concerns, operational issues, and client feedback to the Head Trainer and/or Manager. Demonstrate exercises safely and effectively while providing proper instruction, coaching cues, and modifications as needed. Monitor client performance to ensure proper technique, safety, and exercise execution. Foster a positive, motivating, and supportive atmosphere that encourages members to achieve their fitness goals. Serve as a professional ambassador of the FIRE Fitness Camp brand both inside and outside the facility. Qualifications Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Health Promotion, or a related field preferred but not required. Candidates currently pursuing a certification or related degree are encouraged to apply. Assistance may be available for obtaining certification based on employment requirements. Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain certification upon hire. Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills. Ability to motivate, inspire, and build positive relationships with clients of all fitness levels. Knowledge of exercise physiology, biomechanics, movement patterns, and proper exercise technique. Comfortable coaching individuals and groups in a fast-paced fitness environment. Active understanding of social media platforms and the ability to contribute to member engagement and gym marketing efforts. Self-motivated, dependable, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team. Passion for helping others improve their health, fitness, confidence, and overall quality of life.
