Job Description
Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A hospital pharmacy opportunity is available in Fairbanks, AK, starting approximately mid-September. This contract position offers 8-hour shifts with variable start times between 7:00 AM and 11:00 AM, including weekends. Typical scheduling ensures that an 11:00 AM shift is not immediately followed by a 7:00 AM shift. Holiday shifts are occasionally required and are typically shorter, lasting 4-5 hours. Responsibilities include accurately processing standard hospital pharmacy orders and verifying products to ensure patient safety and compliance with protocols. Experience with hospital pharmacy systems, particularly Cerner, is preferred.
