Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A travel pharmacist opportunity is available in Fairbanks, Alaska, offering a dynamic role within a hospital pharmacy setting. This contract position requires a reliable professional with at least one year of hospital pharmacist experience, capable of managing standard hospital pharmacy orders and product verifications. Candidates with Cerner system experience are preferred.

Location:

Fairbanks, AK Schedule/Hours:

8-hour shifts with variable start times: 7:00 AM, 8:00 AM, 9:00 AM, 10:00 AM, or 11:00 AM Variable days, including weekends Holiday shifts as needed, typically shorter (4-5 hours) Shifts are scheduled to avoid an 11:00 AM shift followed immediately by a 7:00 AM shift the next day

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum of 1 year hospital pharmacist experience Proficient in hospital pharmacy orders and product verification Cerner experience preferred but not required Active Alaska pharmacist license or temporary license accepted If candidate does not hold an active AK license at time of acceptance, application must be submitted within 24 hours

Responsibilities:

Accurately process and verify hospital pharmacy orders Ensure compliance with hospital and state pharmacy regulations Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient medication outcomes Provide pharmacy services on a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
