Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Direct Hire Seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to support inpatient and outpatient hospital pharmacy services in Sitka, AK. This direct hire role offers the opportunity to practice in a dynamic healthcare setting, providing essential medication management that improves patient outcomes. Ideal candidates will have strong clinical pharmacy knowledge and hospital pharmacy experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispense and manage medications for both hospital inpatient and outpatient departments. Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize pharmacotherapy. Monitor patient responses to medication and adjust treatments as necessary. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to pharmacy practice. Educate patients and staff on medication use, side effects, and interactions. Maintain accurate and detailed pharmacy records and documentation.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current pharmacist licensure in Alaska preferred. Proven experience in hospital inpatient and outpatient pharmacy settings. Strong clinical pharmacy background with excellent problem-solving abilities. Exceptional communication skills for multidisciplinary collaboration.
