Weekly pay:
3,621 to 3,663 USD per week.
Guaranteed hours:
40 per week.
Shift:
4x10 Days (7:30am-6:30pm).
Setting:
hospital inpatient pharmacy. This is a travel - temporary assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Setting:
inpatient hospital pharmacy Responsibilities Review prescriptions for therapy appropriateness, legality, completeness, interactions, allergies, and adverse reactions; consult with prescribers as needed. Provide clinical consultation, document interventions, and enter prescriptions into pharmacy software; verify finished orders in a timely manner. Counsel patients on medications, indications, dosing, administration, and expected outcomes; verify patient understanding. Support formulary decisions, inventory management, and participation in quality improvement and drug utilization review processes. Direct pharmacy support personnel, supervise technicians, and participate in clinical and administrative activities; contribute to meetings and committees as requested. Conduct chart reviews for refills and medication therapy management; write recommendations and assist with prescription refills as appropriate. Requirements Pharm.

D. degree and active, unrestricted Alaska pharmacist license.
License requirement:
Current Alaska license; flu vaccination required.
Certifications:
Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.
Experience/Education:
Knowledge of inpatient hospital pharmacy operations; completion of a nationally recognized pharmacy residency is preferred but not required.
Additional:
Ability to work in an inpatient hospital setting; schedule includes weekends, holidays, and call time; start date will be no earlier than six weeks after fingerprint processing per SEARHC procedures.
