Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Per Diem A per diem opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to provide coverage in the Hoover, AL area. This position requires availability from Wednesday, September 2nd through Friday, September 4th, with shifts running from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM each day.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify and check medication orders, ensuring accuracy and patient safety Focus on infusion-related duties, including checking IV and TPN preparations Utilize CareTend pharmacy system for order processing and documentation
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Active and current Alabama pharmacist license in good standing Prior experience in infusion pharmacy preferred Inpatient pharmacist experience with IV/TPN checking accepted Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance
Location:
Per diem coverage in Hoover, AL (serving the Bessemer area)
Schedule/Hours:
Wednesdays through Fridays, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (9/2 - 9/4) This per diem role is ideal for pharmacists who thrive in a clinical setting and have a solid background in infusion therapies or inpatient pharmacy operations.
