Job Highlights The Supervising Pharmacist will be responsible for: Collaborating with the primary care provider team to develop and maintain medication management protocols and collaborative practice agreements utilized by the Refill Center Pharmacy Team. Performing tasks associated with refilling and prescribing appropriate medications per established protocols and collaborative practice agreements. Assisting with future growth opportunities for this team. Attributes of a successful candidate include: Collaborative leadership skills Experience with protocol and process development A motivated personality with strong attention to detail Experience in an ambulatory care/retail pharmacy setting Job Description To supervise and evaluate pharmaceutical services in an assigned area. To ensure pharmacy operations conform to all applicable internal and external regulations, are fiscally sound and promote quality patient care. Provides pharmaceutical care as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and two (2) years of experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Licensed Pharmacist by the Alabama Board of Pharmacy (ALBOP) required.
