Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist - IV Certified Job Type Contract A per diem opportunity is available for a staff pharmacist with IV certification to provide infusion pharmacy coverage. This role involves verifying and checking infusion medications, including IV and TPN orders, within a home infusion setting. Prior infusion experience is preferred; however, inpatient pharmacists familiar with IV/TPNs will also be considered.

Schedule:

Wednesday, 9/2 through Friday, 9/4 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM shifts

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately review and verify infusion medication orders Ensure compliance with pharmacy protocols and safety standards Collaborate with healthcare teams to support home infusion pharmacy services Utilize the CareTend system for pharmacy verification processes

Qualifications:

Current and valid Alabama pharmacist license in good standing Staff Pharmacist experience with IV certification Prior experience in home infusion preferred Familiarity with inpatient infusion pharmacy or experience checking IV/TPNs is acceptable Proficient with pharmacy software systems such as CareTend This is a contract, per diem position providing focused coverage for a short duration.
