Job Description

Millennia RX Gulf is looking to hire a Long Term Care, Part-Time Staff Pharmacist for our new location in Mobile, AL. The job functions of this position include, but aren't limited to: Verification of new and reordered medication and treatment orders. Screening for drug interactions, allergies, and appropriate medication therapy. Communicate with management, co-workers, prescribers, nurses, and administration at our nursing facilities. Enter, verify, and potentially compound sterile and non-sterile compounded orders. Provide final review of drug orders and prescriptions. Verify medication canisters prior to entry into the DOSIS machine. Verify medications that will be loaded into Pyxis machines. Assist in maintaining the inventory of the pharmacy, including a perpetual inventory of schedule II medications. Knowledge of federal and state laws governing the practice of pharmacy. The Part-Time Pharmacist must possess these key skills and attributes:
Punctual, Patient Safety, Quality Assurance, Pharmacy Professional Practice, Customer Service, Workflow Management, Sound Judgement, Works Independent, Time Management, Leadership Requirements:
Registered Pharmacist or Pharm.

D Active Alabama pharmacy license in good standing with the board of pharmacy Preferred, but not required qualifications: Experience in
FRAMEWORK
Operating system, sterile compounding experience, Long Term Care Experience is preferred but not required. This Job Is Ideal for
