Clinical Pharmacy Specialist -Critical Care Jackson Hospital and Clinic - 3.7 Montgomery, AL Job Details 2 hours ago Qualifications BLS Certification Licensed Pharmacist (State-Specific) Licensed Pharmacist Full Job Description The pharmacist provides quality pharmaceutical care by monitoring patients' medication therapy and assist in developing a clinical pharmacy program. They will also recommend appropriate drug therapy and serve as an educational resource to patients and other health care professionals. The pharmacist also utilizes a computer system to enter orders, dispense medications and intravenous solutions to patients in an accurate and timely manner and supervises technical employees. The pharmacist checks all technical work before doses are dispensed.
Requirements:
Education:
from an accredited School of Pharmacy, ASHP accredited residency (PGY-1), current BCPS certification, or equivalent direct clinical experience (with BCPS/specialist Board certification eligibility) required.Experience:
Health system experience preferred but not required. Licenses, Certifications and/orRegistrations:
Current licensure in the State of Alabama, controlled substances permit, parenteral license, preceptor license (when eligible), BCLS provider (ACLS preferred).Benefits
