Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An urgent opportunity is available for a Clinical IV Pharmacist with expertise in intravenous therapies and strong clinical skills. This role offers a contract-to-hire arrangement lasting 3 to 6 months, providing a great pathway to permanent employment. The position requires a dedicated professional capable of working Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, including coverage every third weekend.
Responsibilities include:
Verifying IV medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness Preparing intravenous admixtures in a clean room setting when necessary Applying clinical knowledge to interpret lab results and ensure optimal patient care Flexibly supporting various pharmacy needs across clinical settings
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as an IV pharmacist Current, unrestricted Arkansas pharmacist license Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening Strong clinical acumen in reading and interpreting laboratory data Adaptability and willingness to assist where needed within the pharmacy team

Jonesboro, Arkansas Schedule:
