  • Pharmacist Job Type Contract A pharmacy site in Mesa, AZ is seeking a licensed pharmacist to serve as a checking/verifying pharmacist on a contract basis. This opportunity requires a flexible schedule with shifts available between 8:00 AM
  • 4:00 PM and 10:00 AM
  • 6:00 PM, including possible Saturday coverage.
The assignment begins ASAP and is expected to last approximately 8 to 13 weeks.
Key responsibilities include:
Checking and verifying prescriptions accurately Counting, dispensing, and labeling medications with precision Supervising pharmacy technicians to ensure quality and safety Maintaining a clean, safe pharmacy environment in compliance with Arizona Board of Pharmacy regulations Qualifications and desired experience: Current, active Arizona pharmacist license Strong accuracy and adaptability in handling pharmacy operations Dependability, punctuality, and sense of accountability Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Friendly and positive attitude with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and prioritizing capabilities Effective time management skills Commitment to continual learning and professional growth Contract pharmacists in this role play a critical part in patient safety and medication accuracy while helping the pharmacy comply with regulatory standards.
