Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract This role offers an opportunity to work as a Staff Pharmacist in a fast-paced mail order pharmacy setting requiring accuracy, strong organizational skills, and leadership abilities. The position is a contract assignment based in Phoenix, AZ, with an immediate start. Flexible shifts include 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and/or 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday (no weekends).
Key Responsibilities:
Check and verify prescription orders accurately Count, dispense, and label medications with precision Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure efficiency and compliance Maintain a safe, clean pharmacy environment in accordance with Arizona Board of Pharmacy policies
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid Arizona pharmacist license in hand Proven dependability, punctuality, and accountability in previous roles High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Adaptability to a dynamic workflow and strong multitasking abilities Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team Positive, friendly, and interactive communication style Strong verbal and written communication skills Willingness to follow directions and commitment to continual learning This role requires a self-directed professional who values precision and teamwork while managing multiple priorities effectively.
