Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A dynamic opportunity is available for an experienced pharmacist to provide essential inpatient pharmacy services in Arizona. This role involves working closely with healthcare teams in a fast-paced environment to ensure safe and effective medication use.
Location:
Arizona, with assignments based in a hospital setting
Schedule/Hours:
Day shifts from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM (10-hour shifts) Flexible scheduling options, including four 10-hour days per week or a 7-on/7-off rotation
Key Responsibilities:
Verifying medication orders accurately and efficiently Supervising pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow and safety Consulting with physicians and nurses regarding medication therapies and patient care Applying pharmacokinetic principles to optimize drug dosing and patient outcomes Supporting inpatient care through active participation in multidisciplinary teams
Qualifications:
Active Arizona pharmacist license required Minimum of 1 year of inpatient pharmacy experience preferred Strong clinical knowledge with excellent communication and supervisory skills Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team This is a contract position starting as soon as possible, with a duration of 13 weeks or longer.
