Job Description

Category Pharmacy-Pharmacist in Charge Job Type Direct Hire This direct hire opportunity is for a Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) role at a growing non-sterile compounding mail-order pharmacy. The position is based in San Tan Valley, AZ, with additional options in Gilbert, AZ or West Egg Township/Galloway, NJ. This is a hands-on PIC position requiring expertise in dispensing, patient counseling, pharmacy operations, and regulatory compliance, supporting the pharmacy's national expansion ambitions.

Key Responsibilities:

Dispense prescriptions accurately and provide thorough patient counseling Supervise pharmacy staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), USP, and

FDA 503A

compliance Manage pharmacy inventory including controlled substances and documentation Handle patient inquiries with a strong focus on customer service Ensure ongoing compliance with state and federal regulations in all serviced states

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Licensed Pharmacist in AZ or NJ, aligned with work location 3-5 years of pharmacy experience Experience preferred in mail-order, outpatient, community, or compounding pharmacy settings Proven capability and comfort functioning as a working PIC Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements for 503A pharmacy facilities Prior PIC or pharmacy management experience preferred PioneerRx experience a plus (training is available) West Coast licensure (CA, NM, TX, NV, UT, OR, WA, CO) highly desirable for national coverage

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Occasional weekend coverage may be required as the pharmacy grows Local candidates in Gilbert, AZ or West Egg Township/Galloway, NJ are strongly preferred as relocation is not currently approved.
