Job Description

Category Pharmacy-Pharmacist in Charge Job Type Direct Hire This direct hire opportunity seeks an experienced Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead operations at a non-sterile compounding mail-order pharmacy. The role focuses on hands-on management, blending pharmacy dispensing, patient counseling, and regulatory compliance to support growth and high-quality service delivery.
Location :
Gilbert, AZ (primary) or West Egg Township /
Galloway, NJ Schedule :
Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM Possible weekend coverage as the pharmacy expands
Key Responsibilities :
Dispense prescriptions accurately and provide patient counseling Supervise pharmacy staff and maintain standard operating procedures (SOP), USP, and
FDA 503A
regulatory compliance Manage inventory, including controlled substances and all required documentation Address patient inquiries professionally to ensure customer satisfaction Maintain regulatory compliance across multiple states, supporting the pharmacy's national expansion
Qualifications & Desired Experience :
Licensed pharmacist in AZ or NJ, with strong preference for candidates with West Coast licensure (CA, NM, TX, NV, UT, OR, WA, CO also highly preferred) 3-5 years of pharmacy experience, ideally in mail-order, outpatient, community, or compounding settings Prior PIC or pharmacy management experience is highly desirable Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations governing 503A compounding pharmacies Familiarity with PioneerRx software is a plus, though training will be provided
Additional Details :
