Job Summary Memorial Hermann TMC seeks a pharmacist to join our Investigation Pharmacy team. Schedule is M-F, 8 to 5 and On-call rotation, required. The IDS Pharmacist is responsible for the management, preparation, dispensing, accountability, and regulatory compliance of investigational medications used in clinical research studies. This role collaborates closely with principal investigators, research coordinators, sponsors, and regulatory agencies to ensure that investigational drugs are handled according to study protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), FDA regulations, and institutional policies
- Review clinical study protocols and pharmacy manuals for medication-related requirements.
- Prepare and dispense investigational drugs in accordance with approved study protocols.
- Verify eligibility criteria, dosing schedules, randomization assignments, and protocol compliance.
- Provide drug information and consultation to investigators, study teams, and patient Position is responsible for filling and labeling prescriptions, providing drug-related information to patients, hospital employees and medical staff, and supervising the activities of pharmacy technical support staff.
