Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Per Diem Support pharmacy operations as a key member of a per diem pharmacist team serving multiple locations in a dynamic retail environment. This opportunity is ideal for pharmacists seeking flexible, part-time work of 2-4 days per week to cover call-outs, vacations, and fluctuations in prescription volume. A collaborative team of 2-3 pharmacists will be built and trained to ensure seamless service delivery.
Pharmacy Operations Hours:
Monday through Saturday, typically 10:00 am to 7:00 pm Some locations may remain open until 8:00 pm
Shift Expectations:
Hours cannot be guaranteed; availability to fill in when needed is essential Average prescription volume ranges from 100 to 125 per day
Responsibilities:
Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently using QS1 pharmacy software Provide patient counseling and immunizations Support sites with either strong technician assistance or pharmacist-only operations Participate in initial and ongoing training to maintain proficiency, including a dedicated 8-hour training shift
Qualifications:
Minimum 1-2 years of retail pharmacy experience preferred Immunization privilege and current BLS certification required Ability to adapt to varied pharmacy settings, including pharmacist-only locations Strong customer service skills and attention to detail This per diem role offers the opportunity to contribute to a dependable pharmacist team with a focus on quality patient care and flexible scheduling.
