Location:
Calexico, California Schedule:
Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM 10-hour shifts, totaling 40 hours per week Shared on-call responsibilities among staff
Core Responsibilities:
Verify and process medication orders accurately and efficiently Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure proper workflow and compliance Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient care Perform pharmacokinetic evaluations and provide expert consultation Utilize Cerner electronic medical records for documentation and order management
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active California pharmacist license required Experience in an inpatient hospital pharmacy setting preferred Strong clinical knowledge and ability to work independently Excellent communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration Availability for immediate start to meet urgent staffing needs
