EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Any combination of education and experience that would provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required knowledge and abilities would be: A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in communications, public relations, public administration, business administration, or a related field is required. A master's degree in a related field is highly desirable. A minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible professional experience in communications, public relations, marketing, or community outreach, including one (1) year in a program or project management capacity, is required. Experience must include developing and implementing strategic communication plans, managing large-scale projects, and coordinating budgets, vendors, and organizational resources. Qualifying experience must have been obtained in a school district, governmental agency, higher education institution, nonprofit organization, or comparable public-serving organization. Missing any of the documents listed below, or uploading an illegible, blank, or incorrect document, will result in an incomplete application and disqualification from the recruitment process.
