Job Description

A full-time 4x10s Inpatient Clinical Pharmacist opportunity is available with a large, acute care teaching hospital in California's Central Valley. This decentralized clinical role offers the opportunity to provide direct patient care, participate in interdisciplinary rounds, optimize medication therapy, and support medication reconciliation and education. The schedule is primarily day shift, with a weekend rotation and occasional evening coverage. Candidates must hold a PharmD from an ACPE-accredited institution and have either completed a PGY1 residency or at least 2 years of current/recent U.S.-based clinical hospital pharmacy experience. A California pharmacist license and PGY1 training are preferred. Retail-only experience will not be considered. Pharmacists are allowed to start as a Pharmacy Clerk without a CA license at the same pharmacist rate of pay which is a big benefit here for those non-CA licensed applicants. Compensation ranges from $72.90-$109.36/hour, with higher starting rates for PGY1/PGY2-trained pharmacists, plus evening/weekend differentials. Additional incentives include a $10,000 sign-on bonus, $5,000-$7,500 relocation assistance, and up to $20,000 in student loan repayment, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
