Pharmacist Shift - Day shift, varied start time, 10-hour shifts Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Pharmacist, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care within a fast-paced hospital environment. As a key member of the healthcare team, you will be responsible for medication management, patient assessment, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Duties Dispense medications accurately while adhering to pharmaceutical regulations and hospital protocols Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine appropriate medication therapy and monitor responses Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and adjust treatment plans Prepare and compound IV infusions using aseptic technique, ensuring sterile procedures are followed meticulously Manage medication inventory, including drug regulation compliance and proper storage practices Utilize EMR systems for documentation, medication ordering, and patient data management Provide clinical pharmacy services such as acute pain management, oncology treatments, and critical care interventions Precept pharmacy residents and students to foster professional growth and uphold high standards of practice Requirements Current license as a Registered Pharmacist in good standing by the State of California One year of hospital experience in an inpatient, decentralized setting Computer experience with pharmacy programs and with Windows Demonstrated application of drug knowledge and clinical judgment Join us to make a meaningful difference in patient lives through expert pharmaceutical care!
