Job Summary Exempt:

No Performs and is responsible for the day to day professional activities of the Pharmacy Department including duties involving compounding, admixing sterile products, drug consultations, dispensing, providing drug information, and monitoring patient drug therapy. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Experience in hospital pharmacy practice preferred

Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy

Residency training preferred

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS

Current California Pharmacist License

QUALIFICATIONS

Able to interface with hospital staff and public in a courteous and professional manner

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

(a): This job requires frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, climbing, reaching above shoulders, sitting, walking inclines and declines, standing, talking, hearing, and performing repetitive hand motions. Vision requirements include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will occasionally lift boxes and/or supplies weighing up to 25 pounds. The employee must demonstrate lifting a 25-pound box from the floor.
