Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a skilled Clinical Pharmacist to support inpatient care in a hospital setting, focused on ensuring patients receive safe and effective pharmaceutical treatment. This contract role is based in Chico, CA, at a well-established medical center, offering a 13-week assignment with day shift hours.

Responsibilities:
Provide clinical judgment and professional pharmacy expertise to deliver optimal pharmaceutical care. Identify, resolve, and prevent drug-related problems in alignment with hospital policies and regulatory standards. Collaborate within the pharmacy department to assure safe distribution of medications. Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically EPIC, for documentation and communication.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current, active Registered Pharmacist license in good standing with the State of California. Minimum of one year hospital experience in an inpatient, decentralized pharmacy setting. Proficiency using pharmacy-related computer programs and comfortable working within Windows environments. Strong drug knowledge with proven clinical judgment skills. This role is ideal for pharmacists ready to contribute their clinical expertise in a fast-paced inpatient hospital environment. Compliance with federal and state regulations and internal policies is essential. A professional, proactive approach to patient safety and pharmaceutical care is critical to success.
