Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract This opportunity is for an experienced clinical pharmacist seeking a dynamic role in a hospital environment. You will play a critical role in ensuring safe and effective medication use while collaborating closely with healthcare professionals. This position offers a 13-week contract assignment based in Fort Bragg, CA, with an immediate start date.
Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow efficiency and compliance Provide expert consultation to nurses and physicians regarding medication therapies Utilize Cerner and Omnicell systems for medication management and documentation Maintain compliance with hospital policies and state regulations
Qualifications:
Active California pharmacist license Prior hospital or clinical pharmacy experience Strong communication skills for multidisciplinary collaboration Ability to work full-time with a schedule of four 10-hour day shifts per week Familiarity with electronic medical record and automated dispensing systems such as
Cerner and Omnicell Schedule:
