Job Responsibilities:

Monitor and evaluate medication safety practices across pharmacy operations to ensure optimal patient outcomes Conduct comprehensive compliance audits and assessments to maintain adherence to federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations Develop, implement, and maintain safety protocols and standard operating procedures for medication handling and dispensing Investigate medication errors and adverse events, performing root cause analysis and recommending corrective actions Collaborate with healthcare teams to promote a culture of safety and continuous quality improvement Provide education and training to pharmacy staff on compliance requirements, safety standards, and best practices Review and update pharmacy policies to reflect current regulatory changes and industry standards Prepare detailed reports and documentation for regulatory agencies and accreditation bodies Serve as the primary point of contact for safety-related inquiries and regulatory inspections Participate in quality improvement initiatives and medication use evaluation programs Stay current with evolving pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety guidelines About Rx relief Rx relief is a specialty staffing company providing supplemental pharmacy professionals for all pharmacy practice settings.
