This role serves as a clinical resource to patients, physicians, nurses, referral sources, and pharmacy staff while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and company policies. The Infusion Pharmacist may also supervise pharmacy support personnel and participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities. What You'll Do Evaluate and verify physician orders and patient medication profiles Compound sterile preparations using aseptic technique Ensure compliance with USP standards for sterile compounding Review and dispense medications, supplies, and administration equipment Monitor medication appropriateness, stability, and compatibility Serve as a clinical resource for physicians, nurses, referral sources, and patients Provide consultation regarding medication administration, side effects, and drug interactions Coordinate patient care with nursing agencies and clinical staff Supervise pharmacy support personnel in compounding, packaging, and labeling activities Participate in quality control and performance improvement initiatives Assist with pharmacy staff orientation and preceptorship activities Maintain required pharmacy and patient care documentation Support regulatory compliance and accreditation standards Participate in on-call coverage as assigned Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree required PharmD or Master's degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy required Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the California Board of Pharmacy Strong knowledge of sterile compounding practices and USP Knowledge of laminar airflow principles, drug stability, and drug incompatibilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities Basic computer proficiency and Microsoft Office experience Preferred Qualifications Three years of clinical pharmacy experience At least one year of infusion therapy experience Experience in home infusion, specialty pharmacy, or sterile compounding environments Previous supervisory or pharmacy leadership experience Experience working with accreditation standards and regulatory compliance How to Apply To be considered for this position, you must complete the Culture Index Assessment .
