Key Responsibilities:

Accurately fill Pyxis automated dispensing cabinets and manage medication inventory Prepare IVs, IV piggybacks (IVPBs), and total parenteral nutrition (TPNs) with attention to safety and protocol Answer telephone inquiries promptly and professionally Deliver medications to nursing units in a timely manner Utilize the Allscripts/Paragon order entry system with proficiency

Desired Experience:

Pharmacy technician experience in inpatient settings is required Competency in preparing IVs and filling Pyxis cabinets Familiarity with automated dispensing systems and inpatient pharmacy operations Trained in using Allscripts/Paragon or similar order entry systems preferred
