Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract This opportunity invites experienced inpatient pharmacists to contribute their clinical expertise within a dynamic hospital environment in Sylmar, CA. The role primarily involves delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care across various shifts to support patient outcomes in an inpatient setting. Candidates with a PGY1 residency are highly preferred, though those with at least some hospital experience, including internships, may also be considered.

Contract (long-term)
Schedule:
8-hour shifts Flexibility required to work all shifts, primarily 1st and 2nd shifts, with occasional 3rd shifts
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services to inpatient populations Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy and patient care Ensure safe and effective medication use following hospital protocols Participate in on-site interviews and integration with the permanent team
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Completion of PGY1 residency is highly preferred Alternatively, candidates with approximately two years of inpatient experience or hospital internships will be considered Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Flexibility to cover varied shifts as needed Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills
